Robert B. Hedges Sr.

My sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad and Grandfather. I just read the beautifully written obituary today in the Glastonbury Citizen I have mailed to us in Southern VT. I only knew "Mr. Hedges" really as the Dad of Bob and Tom who I grew up with in Glastonbury. What a wonderful life he lived and what a wonderful family he raised alongside your Mom and Grandmother. My sympathy to the entire Hedges family on the recent passing of Bob. I have known Bob since 1969 when I joined Combustion Engineering and maintained my friendship with him until his recent passing. I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit him several weeks before he passed, and we had a nice opportunity to walk down memory lane together. He was a good person and always treated everyone, regardless of their position in life, in a fair and kind manner. He will be missed.
