Not sure what to say?

Memory is the only paradise from which we cannot be driven away. (Jean Paul) Long distances have meant that we have only had a few personal encounters. But to have met such a generous person with so much heart, understanding and respect for others fills me with joy and gratitude. Rest in peace Robert

Rest in Peace Robert. Good man and a lifelong friend of my parents and family.

Dear Family I just found out of his passing. I had him as a teacher. He was such fun in our journalism class.

Bob was a wonderful colleague, a dedicated teacher, and a girls´ basketball coach legend. I enjoyed working with him. Joanna Holtmeier

He was my favorite teacher....later, as a teacher myself, he asked me to sub for him...a best complement. He had strong influence over how I related and interacted with students. He put the joy and fun in learning.

Bob Heinsohn was a kind and caring man. He sure loved his basketball girls. My sincere condolences to Bob´s family. Brenda Jerrom

Skip and I send our condolences to Bob's family. I'm glad I got to visit (seems like forever ago now) with Bob and catch up and think/ thought of him often. I enjoyed seeing him out and about and will always remember those days past where he and Chuck would have lunch at the Tech school next to us. They were teachers to us first and always and close friends.

My condolences he was one of my Teachers at Palisades. He taught a good lesson regarding the company you keep and how to work through issues with someone who has a conflicting view. Grateful for that lesson to this day. Much love and my respects.

Bob was a kind, caring good guy. RIP
