Heitkamp, Robert "Bob" Sr., Fortified with the sacrament of Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Succumbing to Alzheimer's at the age of 80. Loving husband of 59 years to Nancy (nee Duisen). Dear brother-in-law, uncle and life-long fishing companion of Joe and Norma Capestro.

Bob was a brick mason. In 1964, he founded Robert M. Heitkamp Bricklaying Co. My condolences to Aunt Nancy and the entire Robert Heitkamp family! Being employed as a public employee for the last 25 years as a Building Official/Fire Marshal, I have had literally hundreds of owners, architects, contractors etc...tell me what a delight it was to work with Uncle Bob and that his masonry work was the finest in all of St.Louis! That always made me feel proud to be a Heitkamp! RIP Uncle Bobby! We will miss you!!!
