Dear Chuck, and the entire Helms family, we were privileged to have met your father in Lourdes. The Order of Malta will always miss, yet, continue to reap bebefit from, Knights of his caliber. Patty and I, and the entire Order pray for his repose and your tranquility during this hour of passing.

My prayers are with you at this time of great loss. My life has been greatly enriched by the life of Bob Helms life as he did such a fabulous job raising his son, who has been a close and invaluable friend to me for over thirty years now.

Bob was an inspiration to me and was the one that got me to even consider going to Texas A&M for school. He was very instrumental in shaping my life.

To the Helms family, there are no immediate words I can say at this moment. I can say this man was truley an imspiration to me and had helped shape my life in a very positive way. I loved him dearly.
