Robert “BOB” Henson age 63 passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and mother in Orlando, Florida. He was born December 4th, 1959 in Florence, Alabama. He was loved by many and survived by his mother, Jo; his sister, Amy; his niece and nephew, Chris and Melissa; and his great-nephew Kyzer. Bob also leaves behind his wife, Patti; daughters, Nicole and Melissa (David); and grandchildren Macy and Nico.
Services will be held Friday December 16th from 5pm until 7pm at Becker Family Funeral Home in Clermont Fl. The family is asking in lieu of flowers to send a donation in Bob’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Read MoreI met Bob way back in our National Linen days about 1999. Other than being a huge BAMA Fanatic, we hit it off and I believe enjoyed our time together immensely. Thankfully, I have a lot of great memories. I hope we all find the solace necessary to mourn his loss, and more importantly, the good times we shared. Let us all remember, we´re only promised the moment we´re in, so let´s make the best of them!

I grew up nextdoor to the Hensons. We had some great times growing up. It broke my heart to hear of Bob’s passing. He is one of the funniest human beings I have ever met. I still use quotes of his all the time. He will be greatly missed. Sending love and prayers to Jo and Amy and everyone else who loved him.
