Not sure what to say?

I remember Bud coming to my parents farm in Lone Jack to test their Jersey for TB and Bangs he also came to my horse farm in Lone Jack. Always admired and respected his skills as a vet. I´ve known him since the 70´s. Bless his memory.

I was fortunate to work with Dr. Hertzog during my 25+ years with the American Royal Horse Shows. Dr. Hertzog was so knowledgeable, but he also had a way of finding the best solutions to any challenges that arose during the horse shows. He was so well-respected in so many areas and we were grateful for his wise council during our shows. He was truly "one in a million". My condolences to his family, staff members, and friends.

I wanted to leave my sympathy to the family of Mr Hertzog and those who worked with and knew him. I saw him regularly as as kid growing up as I showed Black Belly Barbados sheep, goats, chickens etc was involved in 4-H and FFA. Dr Hertzog really did everything for my animals growing up! He was a kind man. I wanted to include a photo of a couple of the animals he cared for that I had growing up, cause that´s how I knew Dr Hertzog.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Doc Hertzog was the best. Always took the time to say hello.

Dr. Hertzog saw a couple of my chickens less than a year ago. When he found a tumor in my little Wyandotte, he was so kind. I'm so happy that he still was able to do what he loved late in his life. Dr. Hertzog was such a good man. Let his memory you give you comfort. Caroline Castillo-Jolly

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Many memories of Bud will always remain with me 1. Fraternity brother 2. His extensive involvement as a colleague and also our profession, local and state 3. His contributions to his community including support of local politics 4. His extreme friendliness and compassion for others 5. His admirable knowledge of the veterinary profession

What an amazing life Bud had, and what a great example for all. His spirit was strong and his ability to see the best in all was profound. He included all of us in his life gracefully. Truly he never met a stranger, and reminded me of how lovely the world can be. May we all have moments of peace in our remembrance of how he touched our lives.
