Robert Henry "Bobby" Hicks

As I grew up in Green Valley I would frequent the Western Supermarket. Seeing Bobby was always a highlight! Knowing he was a close family friend was also fun! Prayers for all the family & friends who are truly going to miss him.

I worked with Bobby at Western Supermarket in Hoover back in the 70's and 80's. He was the most thoughtful kind person to me and the customers. I was a cashier and I always had customers request Bobby to bag their groceries and carry them out for them. He enjoyed talking to them about Alabama football and learning about them. He knew all their names. My mother always wanted him to bag her groceries because he knew not to mash her bread or bruise her bananas... so he would separate them to...
