Bob was just a really good guy and I liked him a lot. I am shocked and very sorry to hear of his sudden passing. My condolences to his whole family.

Bob has been one of my closest friends and associates for most of our lives. With Bob's passing, I have lost a close friend and associate of over half a centrury. For two wonderful years (1958 - 1960), we were classmates at the Munich Branch of the University of Maryland where we were both active in student government and campus activities. Those were years never to be forgotten with with studying, skiing, travelling and generally enjoying the experiences of being college students in the cultures of Europe. Every morning Bob used to say: "Think a good thought before you get out of bed this morning". Bob enjoyed each day, and he loved "his trip here on planet earth". We miss you Bob, you left a hole here in the planet when you left, though.

My dad will always be remembered for his optimism and outlook on life. He will be greatly missed but also left an inspiration behind on how to live ones life! We love you and will hold you in our hearts forever.

We have heavy hearts right now but we will always remember grandpa bob with light hearts and a smile.
