My condolences to the family . May you find comfort in your treasured memories and Gods promise to return our loved ones . Psalms37 : the 29

Robert and I worked on numerous projects together over the past 30 years. He was, without a doubt, a brilliant engineer and a big personality. He will be sorely missed by his friends, colleagues, and the construction industry.

Our condolences to Judy and family. We have had the pleasure of knowing Robert since our student days at UTA. Julie worked for academic computing and entered Robert's programming data on keypunch cards. I was a young architecture student, and Robert got me through structures class. Later, as an architect and then as a developer, I worked with Robert on several projects including One Arts Plaza in Dallas. Robert was the smartest engineer I have worked with, but he was also a good friend. He...

Robert will be missed. He was a smart engineer who knew structures and had a great personality. Robert and I became good friends and remained friends for life. I can only offer my condolences and prayers to the Hill family on this loss. I had the pleasure of working on a number of projects with BDD.

A remarkable man who led a remarkable life. He was the king of concrete design. He will be missed in the industry.

To Judy and Family, I am also a Abilene High School Eagle. Graduating a few years before Robert. I didn't know Robert until I went to work for Brockette Davis Drake. I became a close friend of the owner Jack Davis. When Jack went to choose who to leave his company with, he ask who I thought. I told him that was a no brainer. Robert Hill the smartest , hardest working person in the company. Robert was all that and more . Rest in Peace, Robert.

My big brother I never had. What memories we had at Rose & Sons, The Ranch, and many more. " The Strut" "The Laugh", and "The Smile". R.I.P Hill.

Aaron, Rachel and Jordan, Your father adored you. He used to keep me updated on how you were doing and how proud he was of you. When I was with Lincoln I did not want to use anyone other than Robert on our projects. A dear, kind, good and godly man with a heart for the Lord and for others. When we were developing 311 S. Wacker he was always there to make sure everything was going right. The tallest concrete building in the world had the smartest structural engineer. In fact I always said that...

I think everyone who knew Robert would agree that he was not only a great structural engineer but also a great friend and a mentor. I learned so much about concrete on all the projects we worked on. He loved sharing his knowledge and never hesitated to tell you how to make it better. Rest in Peace, my friend!
