Bob, on learning of my very first boat build, sent the kindest and most supportive letter (yes, letter, on paper even) which I have saved to this day. I remember Mr. Hilton as the librarian at the Cary Library in Lexington and his presence was a warm, inviting one, making me feel right at home and welcome in the library.
