Dear Uncle Bob, I found your story here after many years. My Dad, Richard was Bob's younger brother. We heard many stories of you and wish we could have been closer to you over the years. With love.

Brother Bob,
though your bodily presence is greatly missed from this world, your lasting legacy will live on for generations to come. There is comfort knowing that you are now watching over us like a great shepherd.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, therefore set grieving and sorrow aside and be comforted in knowing that Minister Hinkleman is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We have enjoyed knowing you Mr.Hinkelman for over 7 yrs. We will truely miss your smile and the kindness you have shown to us, but most of all the memories of you will stay in our hearts forever. My family sends their condolences.

Rev. Bob Hinkelman was "elder statesman" at First UMC in Round Rock when I came on staff. He was the gentlest soul I ever met. He was also surrogate grandad to hundreds of kids that gathered round him for children's sermons. Thanks, Lord, for the gift of Bob's life.

You are in our prayers as the family of this sweet man, your loss is felt by so very many. When we look in the dictionary for the word 'Gentleman' Bob's picture should be there for he truly was. It was a blessing to both know and work with him.
