Not sure what to say?

A wonderful DoctorA beautiful personMay he continue to Rest In PeaceUntil we meet again.

I owe my life to Dr. Hirsch´s choice of Profession. May God continue to bless and keep him and his. James T MacPherson IV

Not a day goes by that I am not mindful of the significance of Dr. Hirsch´s role in my life and the well-being of my family. Thank you, Lord, for Robert Hirsch.

We owe our family existence to Dr. Robert Hirsch. He was assigned to my case at TMC in February 1989. I was a 32 year-old husband and father of two school-aged children when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was a "dead-man walking" when we first spoke. He seemed a little grouchy initially and I came to understand later that he simply was so grieved by my condition and it´s implications to my young family that he was struggling with his emotions. His expertise and...

My wonderful uncle, beyond his innumerable accomplishments has been an influence and loving fixture in my life since I was 7.
Along with my Aunt Harriet he's half of one of the most loving, dedicated couples I have ever known. May you rest in peace uncle Bob.

I read the obituary in The Jewish Post and extend my deepest sympathy. A memory from the Shanhouse Pre-school at the Jewish Community Center while it was still on Plumber came to my thoughts. My daughter Fran and David were classmates. Dr Hirsch always said, "Fran, Fran - a legend in her own time" which Fran always remembered. Sadly, Fran died Feb 19 of this year.

My heart goes out to you Harriet and all your family . You so generously took me under your wings as a 1st year Social Worker at Roberts and set up tennis matches between your husband and my dad when he visited from NY. He was a very kind man . I hope you will find peace and comfort somehow in time to come.

I worked with Dr. Hirsch for several years at the DDSA and remember him fondly. Nice man, good co-worker, and quite a decent human being.

Our many photos & movies document our family visits to Tucson A big part of our history.
A life well spent.
