Not sure what to say?

Dear Tina and family...... So sorry to hear of the news of Bob. We had no idea Bob was not feeling well. Thinking of you all and all our memories of 13 Thayer Hts Rd Hopkinton MA . Great memories!

Single Memorial Tree

Wonderful man! Bob started my international career in Hungary and then the rest of world - Russia, etc. I hope our mutual friend Janos has been told. Bob was so welcoming. Later in my life we met up in Phoenix and i was an investor on a panel judging his students in a Shark Tank scenario. Miss Him & his smile but he is here with me!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Going to miss you immensely, enjoyed our working together on many fronts Entrepreneurship and Education here at Thunderbird. We will love you and miss you always.

Such sad news to see one of our best pass away. I first met Bob when he was at the University of Tulsa. After being introduced to him by the Dean of Oklahoma State University, I drove to Tulsa to meet with him about an appropriate place to pursue an Entrepreneurship Ph.D.. Bob was most gracious and helpful. Of course, there were no formal Ph.D. programs in entrepreneurship in 1986. But his advice and encouragement were extremely valuable and aided my journey into academe. We would later...

Bob was someone who was always there, so it leaves such a gap when suddenly he is not. He was a friend --- and a friend to so many people. He was someone you could always count on -- for advice, for perspective, for insight. And if Bob said it, you could count on it. In his simple way he profoundly touched people and places. He was a pioneer in entrepreneurship, and like many from that time, helped build a discipline when he came from a different discipline. He was truly a scholar and truly...

The message of Bobs passing away impresses me deeply. I am sad to lose a friendly, humorous, and creative colleague. With his assistance my department and I became acquainted with the first line of American entrepreneurship research. We had many fruitful meetings and discussions. My and my wife’s sympathy are with Tina. University Professor Dr. Klaus Anderseck FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany

I was extremely sad to receive this news, as I would not be an academic and, would not have studied women's entrepreneurship which has become a focus of my career. Bob was my Marketing Professor in my MBA class, and when I was looking for an independent study, he agreed to supervise it. We conducted the first and largest longitudinal study of women entrepreneurship in the US, publishing our findings in a book (The Woman Entrepreneur, 1978). He served on my dissertation committee and I...

I was a former colleague, business partner, and friend. I remember our early days at Boston College trying to create interest in a course on Entrepreneurship. I think we were one of the first universities in Boston area to offer a course in Entrepreneurship and our book was one of the first to be published.
