HOAGLAND, ROBERT EMMETT, 74, left the pain of this world and was greeted in paradise by his Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 22, 2012. No doubt, he was also greeted by his loving wife of 54 years, Vesta Lee Hoagland, as well as his mother, Jane Hoagland; daughter, Deborah Utley; and son-in-law,...

Not sure what to say?

I did not know Bob had passed. I'm sorry for the family. I knew Bod through my oldest friendship with Tony. I always enjoyed talking with Bob when I visited Tony and Bob was visiting. Many times Bob invited my to come to the lake and hang out with him. I'm sorry I was not able to visit with Bob.

I have so many great memories of Bobby growing up. Teaching us kids the Virginia Reel, staying with them in the summer and going to Bible School, riding mini-bikes, hearing him tell stories etc, etc. He was so talented and full of life and I will miss him greatly! Much love and prayers to all the family!

Bobby was a great cousin, I'll never forget all the fun I had in Indiana when I was a child...drive in movies...hiking to the water fall...enjoying the farm animals. He had alot of energy and shared it with everyone around him. He will always be loved and remembered.

Mine and my families condolences go to the family and friends of Mr. Hoagland. His daughter Debbie was wife to my nephew Tony Utley and mother to my great-nephew Graham Utley. He was loved by many and I would have loved to have met him. May he rest in peace and rejoice with the Lord as he meets with his loved ones again.

Bob was a great friend and valued associate during our tenure at Appliance Park. His epitaph is evident by the lives of those touched both in Louisville and on Barkley.
