Not sure what to say?

I first met Bob several years ago at the Joseph Project warehouse in Israel. Bob was part of a tour with the National Rifle Association. We were both standing in the back of the room during a presentation and we began to chat... primarily about our faith. We just seemed to hit if off immediately. Later when we returned to the US, I had a chance to visit him in KC. What a precious friend. Thankfully I was able to visit with him one more time in late November at the nursing home. Though...

I had known Bob since 1977 and I think one of my fondest memories was when I went to visit him before I went to do mission work in Uganda. We were sitting in the sun room at his home and just looking at the beautiful view and talking about all God had done in our lives and the sad times as well. I felt bad for all he had been going thru in the last few years. Janie was my dear friend and I lost a friend and he lost a wife , the love of his life as well and we were both sad. Thru it all we...

I just found this announcement online and I was shocked I have been friends with Bob since 1977 and I had visited him one weekend before I moved to Uganda to do mission work and have kept in touch with him since I was back in the states. I did not know why my phone calls or letters were not answered now I know why. I am so sorry for your loss. I have cherished his friendship and love for the Lord all these last 40+ years. I am at a loss for words because I am so heartbroken. His...

I met Bob in 2011 when we moved our business to rent space from him. I immediately found a common bond with him in Faith. Over the years we often had lunch and Coffee at Country Blub Coffee house. We shared Love of Our Lord and he instilled in my faith in my fellow man. I am heartbroken as I just learned of his passing. I am forever changed by his Faith, Hope and Love. Until we meet again in Eternity!

I met Bob a few years ago when I became his neighbor - always took time to stop and say hello - when I was outside. Such a kind friendly man - reminded me of my Dad a lot as he never met a stranger. God´s peace to family & May he rest in Peace.

I met Bob through a hot rod club, Kansas Road Runners, in high school. Most recently he organized a reunion of the club in KC. Throughout the years he was always a solid citizen and role model for us all. His Christian faith served him well in life and now he goes to his reward. May God bless you Bob. Chad Bardone

My condolences to the family. I used to work for the Hodgdons about 30 years ago. Bob was a awesome boss. I really enjoyed just sitting and talking to him. I have thought of the Hodgdons many times over the years. RIP Bob!

The first time I met Bob was at his office in 2015. I was seeking his support and advice with a political campaign. He made the visit comfortable and very informative. Through the years we became friends and one Sunday morning we bumped into one another at Westside family Church. (This was the Icing on the cake). Our friendship grew even stronger. Several times we discussed our faith and encouraged each other to continue the journey. When I visited him at the Rehab facility we talked...
