Chris and family. On a whim, I googled Bob this morning, only to find out that he recently passed on. He was exactly a year younger than me to the day. Bob was indeed the great guy he thought himself to be.....as a fellow historian, I respected Bob for his knowledge and commitment to scholarship...as a friend I enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor. Condolences to his family.
