Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to the Hoffman family in their time of sorrow.

As one of Mr. Hoffman's former students, I have fond memories of having relay races and playing crab soccer in elementary school gym class.

One can hardly think of Myerstown or the ELCO School District and not remember the tremendous impact Mr. Hoffman had on both communities.

My sympathies are with you as you adjust to this great loss.

Renee and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Robyn Reed

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Barney Hoffman gave so much to the ELCO School District. A great teacher, coach, mentor and friend, Barney was Mr Soccer when one thought of ELCO. Thank you Barney for everything you did for so many whose lives you helped shape. You will live on in ELCO history in the hearts of those who knew you.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Renee, Pete, Jimmy, Kim and families,
Barney was a tremendously positive influence as a mentor, coach ,and friend to Lyn throughout his life. Many fond memories of our early married life include the time spent with Barney and Mary. Barney was a well respected role model for so many and will be greatly missed.

Robert was one of my favorite people in lifesaving and working with him at IGMR. Robert is missed.

Barney was a dear friend. He influenced my life and was a positive role model for countless other young people in the Myerstown/ELCO area. He was a fun loving straight shooter -- someone I am proud to have known and been associated with for so many years. Barney, you are one in a million and will be missed. My profound sympathy to Pete, Renee and their families.
