It was my privilege to serve as secretary in the Assistant Dean´s Office at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 1979 through 1981, and transfer from dictaphone to typewriter multiple R. H. Hoisington letters per day to applying transfer students. It was indeed frightening I remember on one occasion to hear him articulate, from his having been there, the harrowing events of the morning of Sunday, December 7, 1941. Bob was a a trusted member ofo the College of Engineering.
