He always made me laugh and made me feeel good even when he wasn't well all he thought about was us.

Dear Elaine, I just saw a notice in from the KKBE here in Charleston that Bobby had passed away. My condolences to you, your children and grandchildren. I know that we haven't been in touch often over these many years, but I always thought of the both of you as dear friends from a wonderful past era in my life that I deeply value 50+ years later. Bobby's talent, enthusiasm, and kindness (and I would say tolerance) toward the "younger me" back in those days is well...
