Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of "Cousin Bob's" passing. We have such fond memories of him -- his humor, his caring and his love of fun and people. He was a blessing to all he met. God bless!

Our dear old friends, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. One of my earliest memories is being treated in Auburn for a terrible ear infection while Dr. Holman was in town for a visit with the Allans. He was a gentle-man in all senses of that word.

About ten years ago, I phoned him with symptoms my great-great-grandfather suffered that I found described in a letter from 1854. He diagnosed the ailment as tuberculosis in a second and it all fit. It was gratifying...

Please know that you & your family are in our many thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs. Pat, Beth & Margaret, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Dr. Holman! I remember him fondly as our family physician, while spending my younger years in Santee and Elloree! He had a tremendous influence on everyone, and I know you are missing him greatly. Please know that I will keep you & all of your family in my prayers! With love, Vicki Mellette Ouzts

The world has lost a very special person. My sincere condolences to Pat and her family. Bob was a wonderful friend. In my 20 years as a journalist, I wrote stories about thousands of people, but none touched my life like Bob Holman. Pat, I live in Costa Rica now and I'm so sorry I can not be in Elloree on Monday for my friend's funeral. I will be thinking of you. I love you, Bob. You made the world a better place.

Dr Holman was my favorite Doctor to call on when I was a drug rep for Lasix. Ii have a row of Nuts he gave to me one Christmas with my family's names on them. He had thousands of people who were made better by just knowing him like I did. I am 72 now Dr Holman and I will look you up one day. Everyone will miss you. I will.

It was with sorrow I read of Dr.Holman's passing in The State today.I lived with my parents,as a small child,in an apartment in St. Matthews. The Holmans (Bobby & his mother & brother) lived across the hall. Some of my fondest memories were our good times together.
He was a gifted man in many ways & will be greatly missed.
My warmest regards to the family.

I wish to express Christian sympathy to Dr. Holman's family. It has been a joy to re-connect with Bob through the years. I had a high regard for him and his friendship. It was my good fortune to establish that friendship during our years at Wofford College in the class of 1953.

How blessed my whole family has been to have had Dr Holman in our lives. May God's peace that passes all understanding be with Miss Pat and with Beth and Margaret.
