I served under MG Holmes with the 91st Division, He was a Friend also He used to call me Fergy. Great Man, Great Leader God Bless Him and his Family

MG Holmes was a good friend and I was imressed by his integrety and character from the first time I met him after returning from Vietnam and joining the 91st Division as a 1LT. He had a great impact on me and as aresult, I stayed in the Army and retired last October from NORAD and USNORTHCOM.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I served under MG Holmes here in California with the 91st Division. I use to give the General bakery items to take with him when he visited my Bakery Lab at Ft. Jackson, SC. He was a great man whom I will always remember.
