Robert Lester Honeycutt, 87, of Memphis, Tennessee, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was a WWII veteran, and was retired from the U.S. Army after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a member of both the Lions Club and VFW in Corinth, MS. Visitation is scheduled for 9 AM until service time on Friday, December 12 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Friday, December 12, 2008, at the graveside. Interment will follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 1 brother – Millard Honeycutt, Jr. (Irma) of Rossville, TN; 2 nephews – Derrick Honeycutt (Cheryl) of Collierville, TN and Terry Honeycutt (Kay) of Brandon, MS; and 1 niece – Amanda Griffin (William) of Jackson, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Honeycutt, and his parents, Millard and Amanda “Bobby” Honeycutt, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Collierville First Baptist Church Building Fund.
