Robert M. Hook

I knew him as Mr. Hook in my early years and then Grandpa in his later years. I first met him in 1977. I had dated before and meeting the father of your date is usually a very stressful moment. From the first time I met Sue’s parents I felt totally comfortable. He especially made me feel that way.

Sue, Pat and Bobby, Deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. We will always remember him smiling and laughing. What great neighbors he and your mom were. We have many happy memories of Farley Ave.

Charlie/Gus/Uncle Bob always made me laugh and would put a smile on my face! He was a great friend, and will be missed greatly.

Would always be in the center of family functions and he the hit of all the parties. He loved staying up late playing pitch, and flip cup! Running around with the pigs head at the family reunions. Also enjoining those numerous rounds of golf, he always hit the ball straight down the fairway... not like me! He loved those Yankees and the late night...

Uncle Bob was so very special in our lives. As a child I remeber the shower scrub downs after a day at the shore, always teasing and making us laugh! As an adult he always made you feel like you were the most special person in the world. He never missed a family celebration and he was always the life of the party! He will be missed by many.
