I could not imagine a better uncle than uncle Bob. He was always so happy when the Salt Lake family visited and turned out his home to us all. I remember the time all the cousins floated the Platte river in 1972 borrowing uncle Bob's camping equipment and boat. On our harrowing adventure the canoe turned over and we lost a good deal of Uncle Bob's gear. He was just happy we made it to the family rendezvous and the gear was forgotten.Oh, and a good time was had by all!! He was the definition...
