Not sure what to say?

Susan & Family,
Henry and I were both shocked to see Bob's obit in the newspaper. We did not know if we would be able to attend after losing our daughter and Laura's sister just a short time prior to Bob's passing. I am so glad we did. What a poignant memorial to a gracious and generous man. We will always have wonderful memories of those vacations in Colorado.
Henry and Laura Reding

So many wonderful and fun memories of Bob and the family from summer vacations to New Braunfels to Colorado and Christmas day dinner get togethers, he will certainly be missed. Love to all, Dini Sydler Guay and family

I love you grampy and im going to miss you very much. Our conversations over the phone the last few years are something I cherish deeply and I didnt realize how much I would miss it.

To a wonderful friend, golf buddy and coworker. This is not goodbye, just see you later in heaven.Love to your family too.

Bob Horton, what a wonderful friend he was! His ability to love and care for his family and friends is a model example for all of us. If he had been collecting payment for each time I sat with him on the carport or den sofa for a therapy session I would be "one broke girl"...and for the record I was not his only client! Through the years as I passed his house I saw many friends and family sitting on the carport or in Colorado on the back porch...a site missed by so many. Susan, as you cared...

Susan, Robbie, and Lisa,

So sad to hear of Bob's passing. I wish I was able to attend his service on Monday. Bob was a strong man and each of you will need to be just as strong in this time of grief and sadness.

It saddens me to learn of the passing of Bob and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. However, I am able to smile when I think back of how he used to prank with Lonnie Bolton as they worked together in Hit & Run. I'm sure they are, once again, sharing some of their war stories.

My sincerest condolences to Susan, Lisa, Robbie and the rest of the family at this most difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to Bob's family. As a patrolman, I worked for his Dad in Juvenile Div. Capt. Horton was a role role for many of us. I remember Bob asa kid whom we all loved. God bless you all! Harry Caldwell
