Bob was an amazing man he allowed me to photograph for him when time allowed here in Kansas City my heart is broken with the news about his passing. Mrs. Hovey thank you for sharing him with us all.

Mary & Family - I am Diane (Trowbridge) Fox from Page, NE. I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great friend and will be sorely missed. I met Bob for the first time in high school at O'Neill. I was new there my junior year and Bob was one of many who helped make my transition from a very small school to a "big" school a lot easier. My ex-husband Steve Foree and Bob were classmates from kindergarden thru college and the three of us spent much time together, especially during...

Sorry to hear about Bob passing away. He was a major advocate for softball in the state of Kansas. His devotion to the sport will be missed. Prayers to the family.

I am saddened by the passing of Mr. Hovey. My condolences to the family.

I was very sorry to hear about Bob's passing and wish to offer my condolences. I was fortunate to have known Bob for many years and appreciated visiting with him about sports, photography and family. He took so many great photos and wrote so many wonderful stories about so many of our Kansas athletes. I always looked forward to reading his columns and he had a keen eye for talent in his all state selections. He will be missed.

May your happy memories keep you and your family during this time... Sending you prayers and hugs your way.

Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with their heart and soul, there is no separation. I am so sorry to hear of your loss...your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
