Joining Durametallic straight out of college, I met Bob as I took on my first territory. I recall reading his motivational letters and heeding the golden advice as I learned what true salesmanship was all about. I'm so glad that for a time, I got to call Bob my father in-law. He was truly special and a man among men. My sincere sympathy for the family.

Pat and family we are so sorry to hear Bob has passed away.

Bob was a special person in many ways, he was kind, and an example of great character.

Bob Hruska is a legend at Durametallic for his work with Dow chemical in his early days as a salesman. He was instrumental in having Dow specify our seals in Dow plants in Holland and Germany. This business enabled DMC to open facilities in Belgium and Germany and gave us a foothold in Europe. He also had a distinguished career after being promoted to VP of Sales. Bob would be the first to say he couldn't have done it without Pat!!!
