Not sure what to say?

Worked with Bob for many years at the Rose Quarter. Sold him a pressure washer for a friend to use in his business. Visited him and his wife many times while boating on the Willamette and having lunch on his houseboat dock. My condolences to his family for his loss as he will be missed.

It was a great pleasure working with Bob at the Moda center,MC. He was a great friend to everyone he knew, worked with . He was a lot of fun to hang out with . R.I.P. what a great loss Cheri OBrien

What a kind-hearted and wonderful man! We will miss you Bob, yet get to keep so many great memories of our various "meet-ups" all around the country during your many travels. Peace be with you :)

Bob Hume contributed so much to Senior Studies Institute by his organizing and presenting frequent musical programs. We would sit entranced by the live performance of professional pianists following his delivery of historical film clips and lectures.

I was first introduced to "Mr. Hume" as my fifth grade teacher at Fernwood back in 1969. I was a naive kid coming over to Fernwood from Hollyrood elementary school. My eyes were opened up to so much more in school while in Bob's class. Even during recess Bob looked after me. At one recess he saw a few of us shooting hoops and he actually took the time and taught me the proper way to make a layup (jump off your inside leg).

Later in life I was reconnected with Bob while both he...

Both Bob and Marlynn represent so much of my childhood. From 4th of July parties to Christmas boats to working for Bob and just spending time with them on the water. They and my parents were good friends so we spent time with them often. You will both be missed but I will hold on to the memories! Until we meet again!

Bob was one of the friendliest people. He loved to play basketball with a bunch of us 8th graders, teach us how to use video cameras in their infancy and invited a bunch of us to pound nails when he built his new houseboat. He was a patient teacher and made you feel you belonged. He was a great guy.

RIP Bob.
