Not sure what to say?

To Pappy's family,
Frani and I always got the biggest kick out of his jokes at cribbage. Sometimes we didn't understand a word he said because he would be laughing so hard at himself telling the jokes. What a great guy. We have missed him a lot. May he rest in peace. God bless him.

Pappy and the Class of 1980

Pappy was my coach, my friend and a great mentor. He was truly a father figure to us girls in those early days of women's track and cross country at Harvard. Pappy cajoled me, inspired me, and entertained me with stories that I will remember forever.
I was fortunate to reconnect with Pappy at my 25th reunion (see the picture of the class of '80 and Pappy at our wild get-together). Since then we visited occasionally on the phone. I always came away from those conversations learning...

My deepest sympathy to the family for your loss. Pappy was a wonderful coach and friend to me during my days at Harvard and beyond, always encouraging me to reach farther than I thought I ever could. I will miss him but he will always be in my thoughts.

Pappy we will miss you at Crib, the hardest Hand shake and the worst jokes JP

Ron, Karyn & Family. We extend our sincerest sympathy to you and your family. As you know, Pap was a big part of Christopher's life and Chris considered Pappy his 'best friend'. He loved Pappy from the day he met him to the day of his passing. He always stopped in for a visit when he was home from school. God Bless. Kathy, Steve & Christopher
