I remember Bob from my activity on Guri in Venezuela back in the 1970s and 80s. I recall that he took a bad fall at the site and broke both legs. I enjoyed his sense of humor. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Bob was my department head and a mentor early in my career at Harza. He was a top construction manager, a great boss and a wonderful person. He and many others made Harza the family that it was to those who worked there and was among the reasons so many of us stayed with the company (and its successors) for so many years (going on 47 years, in my case). I was glad to have seen him a few years ago at the last Harza Alumni Lunch that he attended.

I'm sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob at Harza when I was a summer student employee in 1952 and '53; and in later years when I was a full time employee. His sister Jean was in my Glencoe Central School 8th grade class and 1949 New Trier H. S. class. His mother belonged to a coffee group that my mother also belonged to.
