Not sure what to say?

Bob was a member of our church here in Seminole, Florida, the Starkey Road Baptist Church. He was a faithful and loyal church member and friend. He was a thoughtful and eager student of the Word of God, and a great encourager to his pastors and church family. We will miss him greatly.

Pastor Gary Moosey

Bob just landed at our 12th annual fly-in in July.

We have known Bob for many years, way before he attended our first fly-in in 1999. He was the star of the show. People would ask, is Bob coming is Bob coming. Our hearts were broke when we heard the news. He was a great pilot and a great teacher to many who were interested in flying. I know he was there to see the fly-by tribute we gave him at our recent fly-in. Rest in peace my friend.
The Gulliver Family.

What a flying partner! According to my Logbook our first flight together was in 1959. He loved the "Supercub" on skis, (that was before "floats"). Bob and Mary knew they had a place to "hang their hats" when they would visit us at our home in Mallory. Bob and I will fly again, back among the "friendly Cu", especially when we meet the Lord and "Go West" for our final flight.

We considered Bob a family member. My sister Kay was married to Bob's brother Reggie. With Bob we have loss 3 family members in less than 8 months. The family has been part of our lives for a very long time. We can only imagine the reunion in heaven with Bob's parents and his brother. What a meeting that must have been! Our prayers and concern will continue with all who knew and loved this man. All the children are also in our thuoghts this week.

Bob has been a friend for many years. My sister Kay married Bob's brother Reggie. Our love for the family has grown over the years. We have considered the Hurd family as part of our own. We have experienced many loses in the family and now we see one more beloved go home to be with his Lord. Our prayers continue with the family as they honor Bob's life and we share their loss. He was a remarkable individual and very much a Hurd in originality, inventivness, love of life and love of flight.

"Bob"...A great aviator will be deeply missed...My deepest sympathy to your family and friends...We will keep our wings flying high for you...
