Robert T. Husted

Dear Barbara, Marc and I want to express our sorrow for the loss of your husband. The two of you were wonderful neighbors of my family for 32 years and my favorite memories of Bob were our occasional conversations, seeing him work in the yard, lighting the evergreen trees for Christmas which glowed in our windows and seeing him jog around the neighborhood. To date, I've NEVER seen anyone run down Reed Lane going home as fast as Bob did! Even though I never knew he skied, I shouldn't...

Bob and I have been good friends for about 20 years. We were members of the YMCA runners group in Clifton Park,N,Y, He was a great person to be a friend of and I will miss him greatly.

I have such fond memories of Mr. Husted and our science class. He was a great teacher! I still see plants and flowers, particularly a Queen Anne´s Lace, and think of him. He would bring our class outside on the school grounds and it was fun, educational and memorable.

I had Mr Husted for my science teacher, I think in 9th grade. He was so interesting. I still remember how he took us out in nice weather to identify plants on the school property. I wish o had a copy of that paper where you narrow down the plant characteristics to come to the actual plant. I have loved gardening and plants partly because of him, but mostly because of my father. He made a difference.

Bob was a wonderful person! I loved running with him & have so many fond memories of him at the SSYMCA with the Pacers run group! He always went the extra mile both on the road when running & with his many friends!
