I was teaching at the East Lyme Junior High School back in the 1970's and started a rock band with students. Rob was one of our drummers and one of the best we ever had. We would play the school dances and give concerts at the elementary schools. The kids in the band were rock stars in the eyes of other students. I remember sometimes taking him home after practice. So sorry about his passing.

Robbie will forever be the smiling young man drumming perfectly on any available surface, the one with whom we spent so many long summer days in the neighborhood. My condolences to his family.

I grew up with Rob as neighbors on Laurel Hill Drive and I have many fond memories as childhood friends. We were also band mates at East Lyme High School. I send his family and relatives my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy.
