Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ingersoll, I just found out about Mr. Ingersoll. I'm so sorry for your lost. Kathy, sorry I didn't know about your dad's death I would have come to the funeral home. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Very fond memories, from my childhood.
God Bless
Patty

DAD,,,,,,Thanks for all the memories........

Miss you Dad..........

Bob is my brother-in-law, we had many years of fishing, cribbage and listening to his stories and jokes. We will miss all of that very much! We also have a walking stick that we will cherish.

We truly treasure the time we spent with Bob recently at his home and at the Michigan Magazine Museum. That interview is showing this weekend on the Michigan Public TV network and also to be aired on the RFD-TV Network early next year.

He certainly was a Michigan treasure and his legacy of his inspired walking sticks will remain on the lips of those he touched. Thank you Ingersoll family for sharing Bob with the world.

God bless

I was the recipient of one of Mr Ingersoll's hand carved walking sticks. It was gifted to me by my sisters, it will be a family heirloom passed down to following generations

I was privileged to meet Mr. and Mrs. Ingersoll in Plains, Georgia, on December 1, 2002, following the Maranatha Baptist Church service at which President Carter gave a bible study. At the School House Museum, Mr. Ingersoll proudly showed me the walking stick that he had carved for the former president, and was about to present to him.

May family and friends be comforted in their grief, knowing that Bob's walking stick ministry was a blessing to the many people honored to be a recipient.

Our thoughts and prayers are wil you and your family. He will be sadly missed but he is at peace now.

Grandpa, We miss you. We will treasure the memories forever.
