My condolences to family and friends of Dr. Isom. He was not only my physician, I worked with him At Mercy Medical taking care of his post-surgical patients at the old building, on 2 South. He was a kind and gentle man, with a wonderful sense of humor, and he treated the staff nurses and patients with respect. He had a way of looking at you over the rims of his reading glasses, that made you want to smile. He will be missed.

My condolences to the entire Isom family. Dr. Bob was a great friend to our family. I enjoyed working with him at MMC. He wore a smile that would brighten your day and a sense of humor that lightened the load. An example: One day I was giving a tour of the hospital to some school children (I did that a great deal). Over the intercom came a call "mother goose, mother goose. Your ducklings are here!" You could hear everyone in the hospital including patients and visitors laughing. Although Dr....
