I had the distinct honor of getting to know Mr Ivins over the last few years. He truly was a great man and a real hero. I will miss our conversations - and will really miss seeing him at the Post Band concerts. My condolences to his family. It was my honor and privilege to have known this intelligent, funny, kind, and great man.
