Not sure what to say?

Bob & Ginny were great people. Ginny and my Mom worked together in the strawberry fields and at Delta Drug. As a young shooter/hunter, I was in awe with trips to the basement with Bob. Fond memories all around.

On behalf of the USS Cowpens (CVL25 & CG63) Reunion Committee, we would like to express our deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one, and our shipmate. At the USS Cowpens Reunion over Father's Day weekend in Cowpens, South Carolina, your loved one will be remembered at our memorial ceremony of shipmates lost during the past year. Your family and friends have an open invitation to attend each reunion. Further information may be obtained by e-mailing the reunion secretary at...

I recall Ginny and my Mom working in the Strawberry Fields for Coussens Bris. Bob´s gun shop was always a highlight to me.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Bob & Ginny. Ginny working with my Mom at Delta Drug and Bob at his Gun Shop are all great memories of my teen years and beyond. They were long time good friends of my Mom & Dad. Rest in Peace.

Bob, was a kind father in law he even found a few good jobs for me. They were always kind to me and the kids a great couple to look up too Thank you!

They will be truly missed! We always loved to spend time with them. During the years we lived in Beaverton, I was blessed to have many wonderful adventures with both of them. My thoughts are with all of the Jackson family and friends. What lives they lived!!! Hugs.

I will miss visiting my uncle and aunt on my annual trips to Oregon as well as the phone calls. When my parents passed away, they took over that role. I spent a lot of time on the farm. When my parents were out of town, Robert would pick us up at Ginny's mother's house after school and take us to the farm.

We're so deeply sorry for your loss. Jim Jackson has been like an uncle to me for the better part of my life and I've heard all kinds of stories about his parents for as long as I can remember. I can tell how profoundly they will be missed and we express our heartfelt condolences to the Jackson family, friends, and loved ones.

Yes, I remember the day It was on the mourn That I saw a ship a sailing The sea was calm The winds were fair Home port was nigh Bob still young And he was at the rail With shipmates once again.---rs
