Robert Jacobs

We were blessed to know Bob through our church, the Church of the Incarnation. Such a fine man and loved by all ! Our thoughts & prayers are with Bob´s family and with JM, his loving caregiver.

Into paradise may the angels lead you. At your coming may the martyrs receive you, and bring you into the holy city Jerusalem. May the choirs of angels welcome you, and with Lazarus who once was poor may you have peace everlasting.

A wonderful man, dedicated co-worker and a treasured employee at Caltrans. He will be missed and shall R.I.P.

Bob was an inspiration to all of us at CalTrans. I'll always remember the good times we had with Pat and Bob at the McDougald's Sierra cabin each summer for several years. The CalTrans luncheons and the annual "Bob's table" were times to look forward to over many years.

Sincere condolences to the Jacobs family. Bob was experienced in Construction and serviced as an advisor/mentor for others, including me. He was a trusted Deputy in BCB's regime. After retirement, he was a popular figure at Coble's retirees luncheons. He and his wife, Pat , will be missed.

I worked for Bob at Caltrans when I was a young woman as a Resident Engineer and he was the Construction Branch Chief. He always helped me out when I needed it and I valued our friendship very much. I think I´d be very blessed if I had such a good life as he did, and cared for others as well as he did. My condolences to the family but please know he had many admirers and friends.
