12 years! Missing my dad so much! The holidays are always such a bittersweet time.

It's been 11 years, Christmas just isn't the same without you. I love and miss you so much Dad!

It's been 10 years, I can't believe it's been that long. My heart is heavy as we approach the anniversary of the day you left those who love you behind. I miss you Dad, forever and always! I love you!

Jake loved Christmas with our 2 kids. He painted a fun Chriistmas scene on our front window. Christmas morning started with him blowing the Christmas bugal. So much fun.

Marian and family: I just learned of Jake's passing and was devastated by the news. I am so sorry not to have communicated earlier to express my condolences at your great loss.

Taking stock of a person's life when they have passed on can be painful for his family and survivors. Not so with you and your family. Never have I met a man who understood so clearly the importance of not just being, but truly living. Jake knew how to live and he showed it to us all.

So saddened by the passing of Jake. It was a pleasure to have worked for and with Jake all those years past. I will truely miss his humor, experience he brought to our industry and the wonderful experience of just knowing Jake and jokenly refering to him as my "adopted dad". Will always remember him!

Jake always had such a warm voice and a positive spirit. I enjoyed working with him very much. I wish peace and comfort for his family and friends.

Kathryn and Jessica Deborah: Your brother was the cousin I remember being the most handsome, ever of all my male cousins! Forever, I shall remember his wide smile and big kindnesses whenever I saw him plus his great love that he demonstrated for those he cared for most. He, like his mom and my dad-I never heard a bad word about any person he encountered even if they were ugly to him. Bet he's enjoying swapping stories with your mom and my dad even now!
