Robert A. Jalbert, 61, a resident since 1981 of Swampscott, Massachusetts, a U.S. Marine Corps Reserves veteran, a valued, longtime employee of Rogers' Foam Corporation in Somerville, Massachusetts, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2001, in the crash of United Airlines flight No. 175 in New York City. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 16, 2001, 1-5 p.m., at Solimine, Landergan, & Rhodes Funeral Homes, 67 Ocean Street, Lynn, Massachusetts. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 17, 9 a.m., at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott. A reception will follow at Hawthorne by the Sea Restaurant, Swampscott. Memorial donations are appreciated to St. John the Evangelist Church, or St. John the Evangelist Church Religious Education, 174 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, MA 01907.
