It was a distinct honor to work with and learn from Bob at the Governor's Office of Emergency Services. His prudent guidance and seemingly boundless energy was greatly appreciated by all. He had confident and friendly manner and I was pleased to be on his side of the table in discussions. The public was well served by Bob's service.

I am honored I had the great pleasure of working for Bob at DWR. His humble, kind, respectful, and grateful nature, are qualities I will never forget about him. In his presence, I felt his gentle energy that always made me feel at ease. A rare and special man who is missed. My condolences to Bob's family.

I had the privilege to work with Bob at the Governor's Office of Emergency Services. Bob was a pleasure to work with and I learned a lot from him. When negotiations were difficult, Bob was focused and tough, but always a gentleman. He was an outstanding public servant for the people of California.

Many evenings Bob would call and ask us to come over for a martini. After a few good drink, we head out to Peter's Asian Restaurant on Madison Ave....
