Robert C. Janik

Allow me express my sympathy to the Janik family, despite the fact that I may not have seen Robert since he was in grade school.
My connection is through being long-ago family friends and Bridgeport neighbors through my parents and his. We all lived on Loomis Street at a time when people there were close.
I have vivid recall of Mike in his police three-wheeler uniform and how safely he kept his 'beat' near 47 St. and Ashland.
Were my parents (Dolly and Chris) still with us, I am sure...

Uncle Bob,

Thanks you for your poingnant advice and introducing me to the joy of fly fishing. I shall miss your humor and your wisdom. See you on the other side of the river.

my deepest wish is for my uncle to finally be at piece sitting next to my grandfather fishing and finally catching the big ones. I have not seen him in a long time but I am ok with that I would rather picture him the way i remember with his great sense of humor, I will not forget the jokes he played like the time he scared me with all work no play makes bob a dull boy. I love my uncle and will never forget him the way he was full of life and just hoping he is finally able catch the one...

I had the pleasure of working with Bob at G F Connely Co many years ago. He was an apprentice, a hard worker and a fine young man. My condolences to his family. I'm sure he is in God's Heaven. God Bless all of you. Bill Meenan

My deepest sympathy Debby and Jim on Bob's passing. May God's Love and Peace be felt by you. May your grief be touched by fond memories of Bob, the pipefitter, the fly fisherman, the baker, your husband and dad.
I've been thinking of the times I spent with him, some go all the way back to him in Highschool, carrying the same paperback in his back pocket all year: nothing else just the one paperback.
