Not sure what to say?

Bob was an amazing professor and one of my first psychology professors at Lakeland College. He was a great teacher and psychologist and I really enjoyed his classes. Moved away from Northeat Ohio 14 years ago but still remember Mr. Jaynes and sad to hear this. Heidi

Bob, Jim and I were roommates at Miami University from 1963 to 1965. We helped each other through the "stress" of college years. He was the Best Man at my wedding in 1966. I was fortunate to reconnect with him and meet Dea last June at Jim's farm. We spent hours reminiscing and laughing. And laughing some more. I will miss him and always remember him. A great guy.

So sorry to hear this. He was one of my favorite instructors at Lakeland. Even though I took his class well over a year ago, whenever I saw him in the halls he always remembered me and said hello. He will be greatly missed.

I just received this heartbreaking news. I am truly at a loss for words. Professor Jaynes was truly one of a kind. His sense of humor and genuine heart is what I will remember most. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. May you draw comfort from the memories you have of such a wonder man.

Bob loved his granddaughter Emma.

Bob Jaynes, Nov 1984

Bob could lighten any situation with his charm and his sense of humor. A clown, a stinker, and a prankster, he will be missed, but never forgotten. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and your love so generously, and thank you for your heaps of inappropriate jokes to make us all laugh like kids again. This photo shows Bob doing what Bob does best: cracking jokes and sharing moments with loved ones. Goodbye, Bob - Uncle, and friend.

Jon, Very sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!

My deepest sympathy to the Jaynes family. I had Prof Jaynes for classes in 1975. His classes were the ones to which I most looked forward.

I can without a doubt credit this man for making a difference in my life: I would not have had success in college or for that matter ever received one degree, let alone the three I now possess without the teaching and inspiration of this man. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.
