Not sure what to say?

I´m really sad to hear of Bobs passing. He always cracked me up with his jokes at work at the Corporation Counsel Office in Syracuse. I had the pleasure of attending his beautiful wedding to Nancy. It was so much fun. Nancy is a beautiful woman and Bob loved her so very much. I´m so glad I went to have lunch with him, Tom Carnrike, John Black and Dave Neff. I loved working with them all and they stay close in my heart.

Little did I know back in the winter of 1973 that when I went to visit my high school friend Nick Gentile at Hobart that I would also be making a lifelong friend in his room mate Bob Jenkins. Bob was a wonderful guy with a tremendous sense of humor who was always a joy to be with. Although the majority of our connections were over the phone, I have very fond memories of a fishing trip we took together up to Canada to celebrate our 50th birthdays. I'll miss our conversations and the...

There is now a huge hole in the planet. Jenks was just about the most unforgettable character on it. I ache something terrible for his passing. It truly was an enormous gift to know him.

It was a gift to know Bob! A wonderful neighbor that always lifted you up when we had a conversation at nog night, a Christmas party, or just bumping into each other in the neighborhood. He had an uncanny ability to make our kids smile, and it wasn’t just ours, he had a special knack for lighting up the faces of others. He gave to this neighborhood in so many ways. He will be missed.

With love to Nancy and your family,
The Coons

I was so sad to learn from college friends that Bob had died. Although we stayed in touch throughout the years via reunions and our mutual involvement in the court system and family law, Jenks - as he will always be to known to me, my friends, and my family - burns brightest in my memories from those days at Hobart College on the shores of Seneca Lake. Although it´s now more than 50 years ago, I can vividly recall the wide-ranging and deeply felt conversations (the type you have when you´re...

Nancy, and your family, I´m so sorry for your loss, he was such a kind and funny man, he knew a lot about so much and so willing to share it all, he was my favorite client and I´ll miss him terribly. The world has lost an original

Bob was our elected Class Speaker at the 1974 Hobart and William Smith Graduation ceremony. He shared the stage with Kurt Vonnegut. Bob, being much funnier, upstaged him. Few could claim that honor.

Bob was such a lovely man. Always kind and willing to help. He will be missed.

Didn't know him well but glad I did. A great professional, a real gentleman.
