I met Bob when I won the bid for his sawmill time that he annually donated to the United Way fundraising auction. That turned into many more returns as Bob brought his sawmill to my house several times after that by himself and later with son Randy. Bob and Randy were great sawyers that provided me with an inventory of lumber that I still draw from. Great memories of loading logs and working with impressive sawmill and operators... besides a super nice guy. Certainly missed

4 years? Seems like only yesterday. Robert was an awesome guy, childhood neighbor, and all around true friend. He was always willing to help someone. He could fix anything! We shared many crazy car adventures including drag racing in front of our high school. Many fun times in Bayville on the beach. Upstate trips too, shot my first shotgun thanks to Rob. I miss him but will see him again in Heaven.

Rarely have I encountered a man who found more pleasure in helping other people, whoever they were. And they were plentiful; co-workers, friends, family, neighbors, boaters, etc. How kind you were with a wit to top it off. Christy carries on beautifully, you´d be even more proud of her today as she nurtures the legacy you and Diane started. Huge hug to Randy please.

I only worked with Bob for a few years but when I think about him the first thing that comes to mind is he missed his calling! I often told him he should have been a stand up comedian!! He had an amazing personality and witty mind and the ability to make everyone´s day a little brighter. I´m sure he terribly missed.
