My thoughts of your Dad bring to mind his loving smile I remember from childhood as well as during our visit this past summer. It always reflected his care and concern for us, and Don used to tell me how RB was like a father to him. Don fondly reminisced about RB sharing his interest in archery with him when he was young. In my Jersey Shore childhood days back in the 1960s, I recall Mr. Jobes working to improve neighborhood homes with his many skills. While some guys in the building trades would just tell kids who dropped by to scram, he had many kind words and would patiently teach you about the basics of carpentry and his craft. He brought good lessons and good cheer to our neighborhood.
