Not sure what to say?

I still think of Bob often, and wonder what he would think of the massive changes in technology over the past five years. I know he´d be keeping up with it. He was brilliant as well as having a generous heart. He will always be missed.

I worked with Bob shortly after I joined Dow, when I took a rotation as anchor of the company’s internal news show. Having no prior broadcast experience, I greatly appreciated Bob’s kindness, encouragement and support. I will miss seeing his smiling face and chatting with him at the many community events he helped make possible.

So sorry to hear about Robert. I knew him through the Dean's office in Moore Hall at CMU. He was always in a pleasant mood, even when frustrated by the challenges of the technology. And he was so thoughtful and shows appreciation by bringing us valentine's candy every year. I am sure he will be missed in Moore Hall and other places he shared his expertise and friendship. Rest in peace Robert.

I knew Bob through our activities at the Midland Center for the Arts. We both were involved with sound, video and recording of many events and performances over the years. Bob was always very willing to lend a helping hand and share his knowledge. I was surprised to run into him while we both worked for The Dow Chemical Company.
Sue, you have my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Bob was clearly a remarkable man and lived life to the fullest. We were lucky to have him marry Sue and become part of the Clerc family.

Bob was an integral part of almost everything community, and was great fun to be with. What a tremendous loss to the community! Blessings to all who loved him.

Sue, I am so sorry to read of Bob's passing. He and I were in school together from Carpenter Elementary, through Central Intermediate, and finally, Midland High School. I remember spending a night at his house where we put a pearl belonging to Edith Lou (or, Eat a Flu, as we called her) in a bottle of Prell to see if the ads were true. We were not popular boys that night. I share in your sorrow and mourn a truly great friend. I treasure my memories of Bob and always shall.

My deepest sympathy to Sue and the rest of your family. While we didn't stay in touch through the years, I know there are many many others who would want you all to know that Bob was your friend from the moment you met him. That's just the kind of person he was.

So very sorry to hear about this. I worked with Bob at Dow & occasionally saw him after his retirement. He always had a smile on his face & took the time to chat. May he Rest In Peace.
