Not sure what to say?

I remember Bob from time spent at the Corbett Grange on Monday afternoons. He came for lunch with the other Corbett seniors. What a GREAT part of our community he was. In my interview of him just before he passed (www.CorbettConnector.com) he stated that he wanted to take his final breath at home-in Corbett where he was loved and cared about. God granted him his wish. :)

We remember a delicious brunch served by Mr. Johnson. We remember colorful stories from near and far. We remember his vast knowledge of arts and science and the natural world. We remember his home set among gardens, horses, and pastures. Most of all, we remember Mr. Johnson's love of life. We are grateful to have known him. He will be missed. With love and deepest sympathy, Jeff and Carol Wray

I have many wonderful memories at the Johnson home while growing up. My condolences to all the family.

I have so many memories of good times with your whole family. I loved the spaghetti dinners and good talks. Decorating egg shells at Christmas, selling daffodils in Spring, riding horses, walking back and forth between houses. I always liked that Mr. Johnson seemed to appreciate me being around, he made me feel welcomed. I think I went to my first movies with you all. I love all my memories spent with your whole family and I appreciate and am grateful for those good times!

The Johnson house was another home to me. I have so many good memories there. Mr and Mrs Johnson were wonderful people and always very kind to me. I always felt welcome in their home. I wouldn't trade the memories I have for anything. I feel very fortunate and blessed for all the time we had together. May you be comforted whenever needed and may you enjoy the fond memories.

Dear Bob,
It was a one-of-a-kind “send-off'' your family and friends gave you yesterday, Bob, at the Columbia Grange Hall in Corbett. Now, on the “Other Side,'' I believe you have a better view of that large family you and Thola raised so well. Rejoined now with her — with Corey, Mavis and Allison, too, you must feel most honored by the tribute paid to you by Sarah, Jared, Riley, and your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On Sunday, we heard ...

So sorry guys, we love you all so much!

Bob and I
Had many exchanges over the flow of UP/UPI news, as the journal was the largest newspaper in America relying solely on UnitedPress/UPI for its world, national. state wire service news. I found him to be a fair critic as well as laudatory of the UP/UPI report. I liked him very much and know that he will be missed by his former colleagues, these tributes show. Billy Joe McFarland

Woops: I didn't intend to be anonymous! Sent with love,
