I remember Robert (Bobby) from OCHS as the best cheerleader, always having fun and ensuring that everyone else would remember high school with fun and good times. He was a natural leader so it's not surprising that he continued living life to the fullest -- what a great legacy to leave behind. I remember many great times during our years at OCHS....my thoughts go out to the family during this difficult time.

My earliest memory of Bob was of him driving Sue Anne and myself into Portland on a "Theater Errand." Bob's car was the hottest! Lavender metal flake with a large engine. We loved running around in cars- why not? gas was $.35 a gal. We also attended most sporting events- Bob on rally- I was in pep club. I treasure his Yearbook entry from Junior year. He was sweet caring, funny and lovableand his gifts will be missed- see you in the afterlife-Merri Jae (Anderson)

I have fond memories of Bob from OCHS Class of '69. I most remember his humor and that twinkle in his eyes. Finding his obit in the paper was a sad surprise. Thanks for posting the recent pictures. He will be remembered and missed. Karen (Peterson) Morris, Tigard

Though we haven't seen him since our children were growing up in Hood River, we remember Bob with a smile. He was a gracious, fun-loving guy, a devoted dad. Our love to all of you who are his family. Lucky you for having Bob or Robert in your lives. Barbara and Gsry Young (Hood River)

There are so many things about Bob I could say. He made me laugh, he showed me that travel was an important part of life, he was a great Dad, he had wit and sarcasm, he loved movies, he had a great mother, he was a true Democrat, and we shared so many adventures together. I will miss him.

Although I do not know you personally, my heart goes out to you. Losing Robert could just be the most devastating event you will face.
