I was deeply saddened to learn of Bob's death. I met him when he first joined the Houston VA Police force and would make police rounds during the evenings and weekends when I was working the same shift next the Emergency Room. To the family and friends of Bob Julifs....Bob was a true Patriot..he served in the Army as an MP and in The ANG as an SP and the on to the VA to serve as a Police Officer. Bob loved his job. I had the privelage of being Bob's Chief during his service in the Air National Guard. I served almost 40 years and consider him to be one of the top notch troops I served with. Bob and I have kept in contact for several years via e-mail we exchanged e-mails almost daily and if it was a hot topic...

Robert was a fine man to work with and was always there to get the job done. It was a pleasure to serve with him and sadden by his untimely death. May the Lord comfort his family and may he Rest in Peace. Psalm 23 The Lord is My Shepherd I shall not want......

May Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, bless and comfort you during this time of grief. I am honored to have called Bob my friend; and I will always remember fondly and deeply cherish our camaraderie. Until the return of Our Lord, sleep well, my friend.

May you be comforted by knowing that there will be a time when sicknesses and death will be no more. Now your dear loved one will be asleep in death until Jesus resurrect him to life in Paradise. This will take place under God's Kingdom rule.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May God belss you and comfort you, and take Bob into His heart for all the good he has done for his country, the people he protected, and his loved ones. The VA Medical Center in Houston has lost a good man.
